
While "The Dark Knight" is still riding high at the box office, Batman fans are already looking forward to the film's release on DVD and Blu-Ray.
With a rumored release date between December 2 and 9, initial information and photos have started trickling out for what will be the 'must-have' DVD this Christmas.
Movie site JoBlo.com is claiming to have initial details of the release; "The Dark Knight" will be available in a two-disc DVD set, a single Blu-Ray disc and a trio of specially packed two-disc sets. One of the two-disc sets will be packaged in a steelbook case, another with a Batpod (that's the motorcycle) statue and the last packaged with a Batman mask.
Directed by Chirstopher Nolan, 'The Dark Knight' stars Christian Bale as Batman, Heath Ledger as the Joker and Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent. The second film in Nolan's Batman series, 'Dark Knight' opened on July 18 and has made over $800 million worldwide.
